1952-1982 Ford Lincoln Edsel Mercury NEW hydraulic lifters HL45Product Description
Brand new AC-Delco hydraulic lifters, part number HL-45.
AC-Delco says these fit:
1958 - 1980 Ford V8 engines - 330, 332, 352, 360, 361, 390, 391, 427, 428 and 430
1963 - 1981 Ford 6cyl engines - 144, 170, 200 and 250
1958 - 1960 Edsel V8 engines - except 292
1952 - 1968 Lincoln V8 engines - except 460
1957 - 1970 Mercury V8 engines - 352, 368, 383, 390, 410, 427 and 428
1963 - 1980 Mercury 6cyl engines - 170, 200 and 250
Now, having shown those listings, looking in my Ford/Mercury parts books, FoMoCo says differently.
Some hydraulic lifters (tappets in Ford-speak) for these years show as 1.82" long, while others show as 2" long.
Suffice to say these lifters are the 2" ones, and I'll let you look in your Ford parts books to see if they are the ones you need. Or you can message me with your year/make/model/engine, and I can look them up in the FORD parts books (not AC-Delco) to see if these should be correct.
I'm also wondering if AC-Delco got the years of the 6cyl engines wrong, and these might be correct for 1960 - 1962 as well?
Lifters should fit these cars:
1958 - 1980 Ford 300, Custom, Custom 300, Custom 500, Fairlane, Fairlane 500, Galaxie, Galaxie 500, Victoria, Sunliner, Skyliner, Starliner, LTD, Del Rio Wagon, Ranch Wagon, Country Sedan, Country Squire, Ranchero, Torino, Gran Torino, Mustang, Granada, Maverick, Fairmont, Thunderbird and Falcon
1958 - 1960 Edsel Ranger, Pacer, Corsair, Citation, Roundup, Villager and Bermuda
1952 - 1968 Lincoln Capri, Premiere, Cosmopolitan, Continental, Mark II and Mark III
1957 - 1982 Mercury Monterey, Montclair, Marauder, Turnpike Cruiser, Marquis, Park Lane, Commuter, Voyager, Colony Park, Country Cruiser, Meteor, Comet, Caliente, Cyclone, Villager, Voyager, Cougar, Montego, Monarch and Zephyr
While these are brand new, never installed, they must have been stored in a damp environment, as I had to clean some rust off them. Five of them had it bad enough that there is some pitting. So, you're only going to get 3 (THREE) good (unrusted/unpitted) lifters, with 5 not good. If you only want to get the 3 good ones, when paying, be sure you choose the First Class option, and I'll only send the 3. Be careful, as eBay more or less "hides" that option, and you're probably going to have to hunt to make sure you find it. If you send the money for Priority shipping, I'll automatically send all 8.

Shipping - Payment
A few words to make things easier.
1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions. And I have to do the revising
BEFORE
you pay. If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.
AND
, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded. Again, this is eBay's set-up. Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.
2. Payment is expected within 3 days. After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded. If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen. Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.
Thanks for your bid.
