    Description

    This is for one camshafts bearing cap from a  4.2L either a 1971 or a 1986 You are buying one cap, I have nine but buy it now is for one C2171, I do have one C2172. C2172 is for the front of the camshaft, C2171 is for the other bearings, (except the right rear, looking at engine, that is C14984 which is not part of this listing). C2172 is on another listing.
    It is part number C2172, if that is what you have then this should work.
    Based on information I have been able to find on line I am pretty sure that it is correct for Series 1 and 2 XJ, XJ6. Also seems that it is correct for many other Jaguars with 4.2L. If you are buying for something other than a 1971 Series 1 XJ then do your research and make sure this is what you need. Check the part number.
