I am really excited about this particular work board because it combines 2 of my favorite art forms into one great tool. This is a 6 inch by 8.5 inch work board that has 36 recessed holes for making exact size quilling circles. Turn the board over and you have the perfect surface for molding punched out shapes for Floral Punch Art. You can also use the back to assemble your quillig projects.
In the photo there are actually 2 boards shown. One to show the front (white with holes) and the other the back (brown with tool). You will recieve ONE reversable board.
Unlike previous work boards on the market this one has a very dense
Foam
core under the 36 hole plastic guide. This is exactly the kind of Foam I always recommend for molding and shaping punched out shapes when making Paper Punch flowers. The Foam is 3/8 inch thick and extremely dense. The density of this foam makes it  perfect for holding your pins in place when assembling your quilling pieces also. And as if this wasn't enough....this board comes with a Special Quilling Tool.  This slotted quilling tool has a flat "disc" at the base of the slot which prevents the rolled coils from slipping down the shaft as they are being rolled. This disc also helps when making folded roses. It prevents the paper from slipping down the shaft then also.
This work board is a perfect tool for both beginning Paper Artist or Seasoned professionals. Its size also makes it very portable and it will fit nicely in most any travel tote.
The board has a series of template holes in which to place your coils when exact sizing is desired or required. This template will allow you to create uniform size circles, eccentric or off center shapes and also afford you a place to asemble your designs. There are 6 different size holes and 6 of each size. The holes are sized to accommodate 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 inch lengths of paper, however you may vary the lengths a couple of inches with each size compartment depending on how compact you wish your shapes. There are also included instructions for making eccentric shapes.
